Annual Meeting Minutes for March 16, 2019

Location Woodland Hall, Sun-n-Fun

Don Harrington called the meeting to order at 4:35 p.m. and thanked those who had helped make the year a success, specifically: Terrence Black, tournament director; Anny Dube, Coed Tourney; Ann Sowle, Membership List and Correspondence; Bonnie DeSiro, tournament dinners and Wednesday Ladder Manager; Mark Eshleman, Thursday Ladder Manager; Bob Dougherty, web maintenance; Linda Sproston, photography; board members, and Bob Franzman, nominating committee.

Bob Franzman, Nominating Committee Chair, presented the following nominations for Board positions for the coming season:

• President -- Don Harrington
• Vice President -- Joan Martin
• Treasurer -- Joan Axtt
• Secretary -- Wade Wilkerson
• Membership director – Ann Sowle
• Tournament director -- Terrence Black
• Social director -- Catherine Harrington
• Website coordinator -- Bob Dougherty
• Ladder director -- Mark Eshleman

• Directors at Large – Richard Brown, Bonnie DeSiro

Don mentioned that this banquet would be a little unusual since the competition had been rained out. The matches are to be held after the banquet on a schedule determined by the individual participants. He asked that Terry be informed of the new schedule for the 6 matches so that he could post the day and time via email.

Don also stated that the party for parade participants would be held at the pool on March 24 from 1:30 to 3:30. Cathy Harrington has wristbands for each participant.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:58 p.m. and was followed by a sumptuous dinner consisting of wine, grapes, cheese and crackers, a salad buffet, a baked potato buffet, sliced smoked beef roast, au jus dipping sauce, horseradish sauce, green beans with onions and garlic, rolls, butter, and fudge brownies with vanilla ice cream.
