The Sun-N-Fun Resort in beautiful Sarasota, Florida is the place to come if you enjoy an active, fun-filled holiday or for that matter for the entire Winter season! Among the many activities available to residents and visitors are tennis programs. Social Tennis

Social Tennis is available to anyone in the resort generally on weekdays from 9-12 with some exceptions.  For the fall season through Dec 31, Social Tennis will be on Courts 5 and 6 on Mon, Tues, Wed and Friday.  Thursday is reserved for the membership Tennis Ladder. Daily court schedule is placed on the website, court bulletin boards, and court entrances.  For more information contact Richard Brown at 941-402-7236

Wednesday Ladder

This Wednesday ladder is for all levels of play and is conducted January through March on courts 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 starting at 8:00.  For more information contact Bonnie DeSiro at 941-342-4565

Thursday Ladder 

The Thursday ladder is for all levels of play and is conducted on Courts 4-6 and if necessary Courts 1 and 2.  This ladder is conducted Nov through April.  Players must be in the resort for a minimum of 4 weeks as well as a member of the Tennis Club ($5 dues) to participate. For more information contact Mark Eshleman at 717-476-7843

Beginning Tennis Lessons (Wednesday)

Sessions are conducted in January, February, March starting on January 7.  Each session is conducted  Wednesdays on Court 3 and is approximately 90 minutes long.  Books and balls are supplied.  For more information contact Wade Wilkerson at 941-755-5717.

Intermediate Tennis Lessons (Thursday)

Lessons are given On Court 3 on Thursdays at 1 PM starting on January 2.  Lessons consist of working on certain strokes with an emphasis on doubles techniques.  For more information contact Richard Brown at 941-377-6688

Mixed Doubles tournament 

 Registration day is in Feb and the exact date is TBD at courts 1 & 2 from 10:00 to 12:00. Please have your $2 registration fee with you.

Monday, February TBD is pick your date. LADIES ONLY!  Let's meet at court 1 at 10:00. If you're unable to be there, someone will pick your date for you.

Friday, Feb TBD will be tournament day. We will meet at court 3 at 8:00 and we will explain the rules.

RAIN DAY DATE: Saturday, March 3.
