The Secretary's report was read and approved.
The Treasurer's report was read in detail. Club's balance is $778.01
Old Business:
The nominating commitee volunteers Bob Franzman, Terry Cooper and Anny Dube will announce candidates for offices at the March Banquet. Voting for officers will take place that evening.
Cathy will write a thank you letter to the Lifestyle Department for the wonderful party that was held at the pool for the winners of the Homecoming Parade.
New Business:
The Tennis Tournament will be held on Friday March 16th with the rain date the 17th. The Banquet will be Saturday March 18th with the Happy Hour at 5:00 and dinner at 6:00.
Dinner will be ribs, baked potato, veggies, salad and dessert. There will also be wine and hors d'oeuvres. The price for dinner will be $8.00 for members and $12.00 for non members.
Sign up for the tournament will be Thursday and Friday March 9th and 10th at at all courts. The cost is $2.00. Sign up for the dinner is at that time and all reservations for dinner must be made by Friday night.
There will be a 50/50 or share the wealth raffle at the banquet.
A discussion was held on changing the day of the mixed doubles tournament from a Thursday to a Friday because of the Musical Theater rehearsal on Thursday which keeps quite a few players unable to participate. Dates for 2018 will be discussed with Wendy with the object to avoid conflicts. Possibilities would be Friday, February 9 or the 16 with a rain date of Saturday, the 10th or the 17th.
The next meeting will be April 3rd at 3:00 in the Pine Room.
