       General Meeting  at Tennis Banquet 
March 18, 2017 

The meeting was conducted by President, Don Harrington

Larry Day spoke about Jim Andrews who was the first president of our tennis association. Jim passed away this week. He was an avid tennis player and a good friend to many of us. There was a minute of silence in memory of Jim. It was decided to buy a brick for the Butterfly Memory Garden to honor him. 
     
Don thanked Bonnie and  Rich DeSiro  for the excellent dinner, Terry Black for running the tournament, Cathy Harrington for her work on the parade and Ann Sowle for her work on membership and computer communications.  

Bob Franzmann, head of the nominating committee, announced the slate of officers to be elected.
   President: Don Harrington;
   Vice President: Scott Foster;
   Treasurer: Joan Axtt;
   Secretary: Mary Lou  Zakrzewski;
   Tournament Director: Terry Black;
   Social Director: Cathy Harrington;
   Tuesday Ladder: Mark  Eshleman;
  Wednesday Ladder: Bonnie DeSiro;
  Web Master: Bob Dougherty;
  Membership: Ann Sowle;
  Members at Large: Larry Day and Richard Brown.

It was unanimously voted to accept the full slate of of officers.
