SUN-N-FUN TENNIS COURT USE

(November – March)

MORNING TENNIS

Monday, Tuesday & Friday

Courts 1, 2 – Open tennis is from 8AM -- 10:00AM on these courts. Morning rotation tennis for less proficient players is from 10AM – 12N.  Court 3 (by the Pavilion) may be used on Tuesdays for open tennis and rotation in the same timeframe as above

Courts 4, 5, 6 – Open tennis is from 8AM - 10AM on these courts on Monday, Tuesday & Friday. Morning rotation tennis for more proficient players is from 10AM – Noon Monday through Friday.   Court 4 may continue to be used for singles or doubles matches in this time frame only if there are three or less players waiting at courts 5 and 6. When there are 4 players waiting at courts 5 and 6, court 4 should be incorporated into morning rotation tennis.

At the end of the morning rotation tennis time schedule, if people are waiting at any court to play a match (and have not been part of rotation tennis), they have first priority for a court at 12N.

Wednesday Ladder
The Wednesday ladder is for all levels and is scheduled on courts 1-6 from Jan 3 - March 28

Thursday Ladder

The Thursday Ladder is for all levels and is scheduled on courts 1,2,4, 5, 6 Nov 15 - April 25.  

Wednesdays

All courts (Nov-Dec) and Courts 1, 2 & 3 (Jan-Mar) - Matches may be set up from 8AM - 10AM on these courts. Morning rotation tennis is from 10AM – 12AM (Nov-Mar 27) for all players regardless of ratings.

WEEKENDS

Match play may be set up at any time on any court on the weekend. There is no requirement for rotation tennis on any court. Please be considerate if players are waiting and limit your play to 1 ½ hours.

EVENING TENNIS

Time periods for night play are 6 PM - 7:30 PM and 7:30 PM - 9 PM. You may sign up for a court ONLY ONE-HALF HOUR before court time and ONE team member must be present at the court (and yes, you can start play at an earlier time if the court is open).

A court may be used for singles, doubles, or rotation play. You may only sign up for one court for your team. A new player (someone that did not play at all at 6 PM) has preference for the 7:30 time slot. If the court is not scheduled for that time, you may continue play.

Play must be in progress ten minutes after your scheduled time or the court is forfeited if someone is waiting.
