Executive Board Meeting Minutes for January 7, 2019

Pine Room

Attendees: Terry Black, Richard Brown, Mark Eshleman, Scott Foster, Don

Members not present: Bob Dougherty, Cathy Harrington, Wade Wilkerson, Joan Axtt

1. President Don Harrington called the meeting to order at 3:00 p.m.

2. The minutes of the Dec 3, 2018 meeting were read and approved unanimously.

3. Treasurer Joan Axtt was not present but she provided the Treasurer’s report. The current balance is $923.14.

4. Bonnie DeSiro and Terry Black discussed the idea of placing a shed at a point adjacent to Courts 1 and 2. Bonnie and Terry are meeting with SNF management (Carlos) on Friday, January 11 to discuss this idea. If the shed is approved, placed there, and provided with power, we would have the option of housing the ball machine there. We would also provide a First Aid Kit.

5. Bonnie informed us that she has bought and installed a new clock between Courts 1 and 2. Also, a new battery has been installed in the clock next to Court 6.

6. Don raised the issue that the current dates for the February tournament conflict with both the Pickleball mixed tournament and the Pickleball banquet. Since we have a number of people that would have a conflict, we decided to move the tournament 2 weeks later. This was the consensus of the board. The new dates for the tournament will be Feb 7-9 with the banquet in Woodland Hall.

7. The next meeting will be at 3:00 on February 4, 2019, in the Pine Room.

8. The meeting was adjourned at 4:00 p.m.
