Minutes of General Meeting on March 24, 2018

Location:  Woodland Hall

President Harrington called the meeting to order at 5:07 p.m. and proceeded to thank the past year’s officers and membership director, tournament directors, ladder directors, photographer, web coordinator, parade chair, social chair, food coordinators, and tennis instructors.

The meeting was paused at 5:17 for a buffet dinner provided by SRQ. This was preceded by an excellent Hors D’oeuvres table prepared by Bonnie DeSiro, Cathy Harrington and Anny Dube. After dinner the meeting resumed.

Larry Day distributed five $25 prizes from the 50/50 raffle.

Bob Franzmann, Nominating Committee leader, presented recommended nominees as follows:

·         President: Don Harrington

·         Vice President:  Scott Foster

·         Secretary:   Wade Wilkerson

·         Treasurer:  Joan Axtt

·         Membership Director:  Ann Sowle

·         Tournament Director:  Terry Black

·         Tuesday Ladder:  Mark Eshleman

·         Social Director:  Cathy Harrington

·         Web Coordinator:  Bob Dougherty

·         Members at Large:  Bonnie DeSiro, Richard Brown

There were no nominations from the floor.

Burt Martin moved and Carol Dougherty seconded that the nominees be approved.

All nominees were approved by acclamation.

Terry Black, with the aid of Don Harrington, passed out medals from the March tournament.

Linda Sproston took photos of the bronze, silver, and gold medal winners and a group photo of all attendees.

The meeting was adjourned at 6:50.
